The sonar processor in the control center is connected to the sonar in the port via fiber-optic cables. Due to the wide entrance of the port, conventional copper cables cannot meet the data exchange needs between the sonar and the processor. Therefore, pressure-resistant containers need to be installed next to each sonar on the seabed, with conversion devices such as fiber-optic modems built inside.  

The cables used to power underwater equipment can be either copper cables or composite cables (combining fiber optic and copper cables) for enhanced reliability.
